About Thirsty Planet
Thirsty Planet is a brand of bottled water whose sole purpose is to raise money for the provision of clean water in Africa.
It’s the 21st century and over a billion people in developing countries still cannot access clean drinking water while we in the west have the luxury of being able to choose from dozens of brands of bottled water or good old tap water.
“So what do we do? Do we just sit back and hope that someone else solves the problem?”
We couldn’t just sit back. We came up with the idea of Thirsty Planet. It’s not going to solve this huge global problem but is making a difference – a real difference – to people who have struggled with poverty and disease for most of their lives.
The donations from sales of Thirsty Planet will allow Pump Aid to provide whole communities with clean water. When you buy a multipack you’re giving someone clean water for their whole life, while a 500ml bottle generates a five-year supply for one person.
So every time you buy even one bottle, you give someone the greatest gift possible. Water.
